About Mario Peshev

Six companies founded, two exited. Founder of Growth Shuttle (the advisory practice behind this site) and DevriX (a separate 40-person implementation firm). Advisor to more than 500 companies since 2010. The work centers on the technical side of the business: diligence, the first 100 days after close, and fractional CTO retainers.

Since 2010, two paths run in parallel. Growth Shuttle is the advisory practice: a weekly briefing read by roughly 30,000 operators and investors, and the entity that bills the engagements on this site. DevriX is a 40-person firm that builds technology, data, and revenue systems for PE-backed mid-market companies. Both were founded by me. They are kept as separate entities on purpose: an advisor employed by the firm that sells the fix is a salesman with a diagnostic.

More than 500 companies have come through in one form or another: early founders, CXOs of $500M businesses, and managing partners of funds.

The combination matters. Hands-on with the technology (architecture, data, revenue ops, AI in production), and also fluent in how PE thinks about value creation, because I've bought, built, and sold companies myself. Most advisors do one of those things.

I've trained or advised teams at VMware, SAP, Software AG, CERN, and Saudi Aramco. I've written two books that are cited in 50+ universities, made 20+ angel investments, and closed two agency acquisitions of my own.
